Protiviti’s Andrew North named ‘Business Man of the Year 2017’

Andrew North, Country Managing Director of Protiviti Member Firm Qatar, was named ‘Business Man of the Year 2017’ at the recently-held Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF) Annual Awards.

The award was presented by Her Royal Highness Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, in the presence of more than 200 distinguished guests, including dignitaries.

A panel of prominent Qatari and British business leaders judged the winner based on a selection criteria which included entrepreneurship and promoting expertise within the Qatari community.

Matt Kitson, the QBBF Vice-Chairman, said:  “The panel was very impressed that Andrew North built the Protiviti brand in Qatar since 2012, achieving a large diversified client base while regularly sharing insights with the Qatari business community through talks and seminars.” Kitson also listed many prestigious local clients of Protiviti in his address.

Andrew North, commenting on winning the award, said: “This is a great honour. It has been a tremendous experience to build our business and establish a talented Protiviti team in Doha. Our client testimonials show we are making a valuable contribution to Qatar’s business community and we are keen to help more”.

The objectives of the QBBF Annual Awards are to reward business excellence and Qatari partnering in the British Community. Award categories included:

Business Man of the Year; Business Woman of the Year; Organisation of the Year; SME of the Year; and Work in the Community.
