Acclaimed Qatari artist joins hands with Interior Treasures

Doha: Prominent Qatari artist Ahmed Al Maadheed, who shot to fame for his stylized portrait “Tamim the Glorious”, has joined hands with Interior Treasures to create unique pieces that highlight important elements of Qatari culture and heritage.

The partnership was officially announced at a recent event held in Al Asmakh Tower which witnessed the unveiling of limited edition furniture set called ‘Corner of Peace.’ The set which comprises a chair, a table and a painting with handcrafted wooden frame painted by al-Maadheed now on display in the Interior Treasures offices/showroom.

Available for sale, the set to be formally launched on February 21 can be viewed on www.Interior-Treasures-Collection. It will also be available for private viewing by appointment. Those who wish to view can call +974 3128 3888.

The partnership between Interior Treasures and Al Maadheed was built on a personal relationship which started from their mutual admiration and appreciation of each other’s work and principles.

Ahmed Al Maadheed has been internationally recognized for his stunning pieces, most famous of which is his iconic 2017 portrait “Tamim the Glorious” which instantly became popular among citizens and residents turning into a potent symbol of Qatari strength during the blockade.
