Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior warned that sending or referencing rumours and unverified news to official social media accounts is a violation, alongside reposting content from suspicious sources.

It emphasized that these actions are considered a clear violation and a direct contribution to promoting such content and expanding its reach.

The Ministry added that reporting any violating content or suspicious accounts must be done exclusively through the Metrash application, through Security Window >> Security Complaint >> Economic and Cyber Crimes Combating Department; or via email at [email protected] or by calling (999).

The Ministry of Interior reiterated that it will not hesitate to take the necessary legal actions against anyone proven to be in violation of the laws and instructions issued in this regard, in order to protect the security and stability of the society.
