Pakistani national killed by falling debris in Abu Dhabi

Doha, Qatar: Officials in Abu Dhabi responded to an incident in the Bani Yas area  after shrapnel fell following the interception of a ballistic missile by air defence systems. 

The incident resulted in the death of an individual stated an official statement from the emirate.

The victim was a Pakistani national, it further confirmed in a post on X.

The day before a Palestinian national was killed on the edge of the city when a missile hit his car.

AFP said that it brings the death toll in the United Arab Emirates since the start of the Iran war to eight, with six civilians dead as well as two military personnel killed in a helicopter accident.
