Houston: The Qatari national team continued held their main training session in preparation for their second match of the Concacaf Gold Cup against Grenada.
The match will kick off tomorrow at 2:30am Doha time.
The Qatari team started its campaign with an exciting draw with Panama as the two teams shared six goals in a thrilling encounter.
The Asian champions will be looking to impress against Grenada as they seek full points with the hope of a place in the second round.
Qatar's Spanish coach Felix Sanchez has continuously worked to raise the rate of physical fitness and motivate the players morally in order to provide their best.
Qatari midfielder, Youssef Abdul Razzaq, confirmed that his team aspires to achieve good results during their historical participation in this tournament to bring honour to Qatari football.
Abdul Razzaq said that the team aims to win the next confrontation against Grenada and get closer to the second round, especially since the team was able to snatch a point against the Panama.
"Against Panama, we wasted many opportunities, but we succeeded in imposing ourselves strongly in front of one of the strong teams who have played in the World Cup Russia 2018," he said.
Meanwhile, Qatar's charismatic defender Abdelkarim is preparing to make his 100th appearance for the national team when Al Annabi meet Grenada.
Hassan was presented a commemorative jersey by Qatar Football Association President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani in the presence of coach Sanchez, officials and his team-mates during the training session yesterday.
