Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani awarded the Hamad bin Khalifa Sash to the former Speaker of the Shura Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud in appreciation of his efforts in serving his country throughout his tenure.
The Sash was awarded when H H the Amir received him in his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
For his part, former Speaker expressed his thanks and gratitude to HH the Amir for this honour.
