Doha: The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor, and Social Affairs cancellation and license withdrawal of 'Distinction Manpower Recruitment company and withdrew its license due to violation of contracts with clients.
The Ministry stated that violations included not honouring labour contracts with clients, recruitment from abroad with expired contracts and issuing labour contracts without the Ministry’s authentication.
The Ministry banned dealing with the company to avoid future damages.
This procedure comes within the role of the Ministry in settling disputes arising between recruitment agencies and employers, in accordance with the Labor Law and the decisions implementing it, and its competence to issue, renew and cancel licenses of recruitment agencies in accordance with the provisions of the law.
