Third Katara Cultural Diversity Festival opens tonight

DOHA: Qatari and Indian Folkloric shows will open the third edition of Katara Cultural Diversity Festival tonight at the Katara Amphitheatre.

The shows are scheduled from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The festival features an array of cultural performances from different nations around the world and aims to act as bridge between cultures and provide a multicultural harmonious environment.

In addition to international folkloric groups, ten local bandsfrom different communities in Qatar will be performing during the festival.

The countries taking part in this festival are India, Oman, China, Ghana, Macedonia, Mexico, Turkey, Spain, Czech Republic, Iran, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Bulgaria, Morocco, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Bosnia and Russia.

Every weekend, a performance will take place at the Katara Amphitheatre from 7.30pm to 9.30pm until March 9, 2019.

The festival is free for everyone and visitors of Katara can enjoy their weekends during the spring season watching fabulous shows from different countries of the world.
