Doha, Qatar: Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, hosts the Recent Advances in Primary Immunodysregulation Disorders (RAPID 2026) conference from September 25 to 27, 2026, bringing together international experts, clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest advances in the diagnosis, management, and research of primary and genetic immune dysregulation disorders.
Held under the theme “Frontiers in Diagnostics for Primary Immunodysregulation Disorders”, the in-person conference will feature scientific presentations, multidisciplinary discussions, and an IBB Master Class on Inborn Errors of Immunity.
Organised in collaboration with The Isil Berat Barlan Academy (IBB) and the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN), and aims to strengthen regional and international collaboration while advancing precision diagnostics and patient care.
Principal Investigator from the Laboratory of Immunoregulation and Conference Co-Chair, Dr. Bernice Lo said, “RAPID 2026 reflects Sidra Medicine’s commitment to advancing research and improving outcomes for patients with rare and complex immune disorders.
“We have a strong line-up of international and regional experts, including Prof. Talal Chatila, a leading expert in translational immunology presenting as a keynote speaker this year. By bringing together global experts from multiple disciplines, we aim to accelerate knowledge exchange, strengthen international collaboration, and promote earlier diagnosis and more personalised approaches to care.”
Division Chief of Hematology and Sidra Conference Co-Chair, Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Karim added, “The field of immune dysregulation is evolving rapidly, driven by advances in genomics, diagnostics, and translational research. RAPID 2026 will be an important platform for clinicians and scientists to share emerging evidence, discuss complex clinical cases, and shape future standards of care for patients across the region and beyond.”
The conference is designed for physicians, researchers, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and scientists involved in the care and study of patients with inborn errors of immunity and related immune disorders.
Participants will gain insights into the latest clinical and scientific developments and contribute to discussions that support improved diagnosis, treatment, and research collaboration across the MENA region and internationally.
