MEEZA inks ‘Gold Partnership’ with Huawei

MEEZA, Qatar’s reputed end-to-end managed IT services and solutions provider, has teamed up with Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider to bring more cost-effective solutions and state-of-the-art IT services to Qatar’s public and private sector organisations. The ‘Gold Partnership’ agreement was announced at Huawei’s Annual Global ‘Huawei Connect’ Event, held September 5 to 7, 2017 in China.
The momentous agreement comes as part of MEEZA’s relentless efforts to contribute to the realisation of Qatar’s Digital Vision, which is a part of the Qatar National Vision 2030 that aims to transform Qatar into a knowledge-based economy. The Gold Partnership will see MEEZA and Huawei jointly develop ICT and smart solutions that are world-class, yet cost-effective for organizations in various sectors in Qatar and throughout the entire region.

The Huawei Connect 2017 event took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, where more than 20,000 ICT industry leaders and experts gathered from over 150 countries and regions to jointly explore the direction of advancements in digital technology. This year the theme of the event was ‘Grow with the Cloud’, focusing on the practical implementation of Huawei’s cloud strategy, first unveiled at last year’s event. Topics under this theme included business, technology, and ecosystem strategies in the cloud era.
In addition to sharing its expertise in the field with industry stakeholders, MEEZA’s participation in the distinguished event and the new partnership with Huawei acted as a catalyst for its ongoing commitment to the realization of the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the digital transformation of the country.
