HEC Paris, one of the world’s leading providers of Executive Education, has officially welcomed the HEC Paris International Executive MBA (EMBA) Class of 2020 during a launch event held at its campus at Tornado Tower in Doha on February 18, 2019.
With the growing popularity of the programme, the number of participants this year increased, said a statement. The new EMBA cohort comprises 44 participants, 41% of whom are women. Participants come from 19 countries, including Algeria, America, Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Egypt, France, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritius, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Spain, and Turkey.
The participants in this program represent leading companies and organizations such as Qatar Foundation; SASOL Middle East & India; Milaha; Parsons International; Qatar University; Ministry of Public Health; United Nations Development Programme; Qatar Vinyl Company; Qatar Tourism Authority; Qatar Investment Authority; Barzan Holdings; Shell; Sidra Medical and Research Center; Total SA; Qatar Olympic Committee; Ministry of Justice; Alfardan Automobiles; Qatar Fuel (Woqod); Al Alfia Holding; Al Khaliji Bank; Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ); Accenture; Bank Muscat, among others.
Welcoming the new participants, Dr. Nils Plambeck, Dean and CEO of HEC Paris in Qatar, provided an overview of HEC Paris and perspectives about the opportunities and challenges associated with the EMBA programme.
