Doha, Qatar: The Arab Postal Regulatory Forum 2026 opened today in Doha.
Policymakers, regulators, and postal sector stakeholders from across the Arab region were brought together at the forum to discuss the future of postal regulation and support innovation, competition, and regional cooperation.
President of Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulla AlMuslemani in his opening speech highlighted that rapid technological developments and evolving market and consumer needs require flexible and efficient regulatory frameworks that foster innovation, competition, and trust in postal services.
During the Arab Postal Regulatory Forum, Eng. AlMuslemani presented postal licence award letters to the CEOs and senior representatives of newly licensed postal companies, explaining CRA’s commitment to supporting competition and development of Qatar’s postal sector.
