Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, met yesterday in the Turkish capital Ankara with Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey, H E Hulusi Akar and Libyan Minister of Interior, H E Fathi Bashagha.
The meeting reviewed the latest regional and international developments, particularly developments in Libya.
Qatar’s Ambassador to Libya H E Mohammed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani and Qatar’s Military Attaché in Ankara, Brigadier General Mohammed Rashid Al Awami attended the meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister also met Turkish Defence Minister separately.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations in the defence field, and the means to enhance them. Brigadier General Mohammed Rashid Al Awami attended the meeting.
