President of the Hellenic Republic H E Katerina Sakellaropoulou has awarded the Order of the Phoenix to Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Greece, H E Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.
The Order of the Phoenix is one of the highest honours granted by the Greek presidency to heads of friendly diplomatic missions.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece H E Nikos Dendias bestowed the Order upon the Ambassador during his meeting with His Excellency at the headquarters of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the Greek Foreign Minister stressed that awarding this high order to the Ambassador is in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening relations between the State of Qatar and the Hellenic Republic in all fields.
