Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah during a meeting with United States Secretary of Defence H E Lloyd Austin in Washington.
Washington: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, who is currently visiting the United States of America, met with the United States Secretary of Defence H E Lloyd Austin.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral military relations between the two countries, ways to strengthen them, and the latest regional developments.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States of America H E Sheikh Meshaal bin Hamad Al Thani, Commander of the Amiri Air Force H E Staff Major General (Pilot) Salem Hamad Aqeel Al Nabit, and a number of senior officers in the armed forces.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs also met with the US Under Secretary of Defence for Intelligence and Security H E Ronald Moultrie. They reviewed the bilateral military relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
The meeting was attended by H E the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States of America, Commander of the Amiri Air Force and a number of senior officers in the armed forces were also present during the meeting.
