Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport (MOT) announced that a navigation warning, published last March 18th and warned ships and maritime vessels to refrain from approaching the areas where hydrographic surveys are being conducted, has been extended and will remain in effect until May 15, 2026.
“All ships and maritime vessels are requested to adhere to this new warning until this May 15, for the safety of operations, life, and property,” the Ministry said in a statement.
It added that all vessels are requested to slow down as they approach the hydrographic survey areas where hydrographic boats and submarine equipment operate.
MOT said that this extended navigation warning covers the same previous coordinates.
