Prime Minister receives phone calls from Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Egypt

Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received phone calls from Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud; Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait HE Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan; and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad of the Arab Republic of Egypt HE Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty.

During the calls, Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers conveyed their countries' condolences to His Excellency the martyrs from the Qatari Armed Forces following the helicopter crash in Qatari territorial waters due to a technical malfunction while on a routine duty mission.

During the discussions, the escalating military situation in the region and its serious repercussions for regional and international security and stability were reviewed, along with ways to resolve all disputes peacefully.

Emphasis was also placed on the need to strengthen coordination and intensify joint efforts to immediately halt any escalatory actions, return to the negotiating table, and prioritize reason and wisdom to contain the crisis, thereby ensuring global energy security, freedom of navigation, environmental safety, and regional stability.
