DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in London yesterday for a visit to the friendly United Kingdom at the invitation of Prime Minister Theresa May.
H H the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation. H H the Amir and H E the Prime Minister will hold talks on Tuesday to discuss the strengthening of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
During the visit, HH the Amir will also meet with a number of Ministers and senior officials in the United Kingdom.
The bilateral discussions will provide an opportunity to open wider horizons for mutual investments at both public and private sector levels.
The UK has been and continues to be the preferred destination for Qatari investments in various fields, particularly real estate.
