At least ten business associations operating in Doha, in partnership with Qatar Financial Centre will bring together business leaders and decision makers involved in Qatar’s main projects and sectors of economic interest to the latest edition of “Back to Business Qatar” event scheduled to be held at the Rotana City Centre Hotel, tomorrow.
Back to Business Qatar represents a vital opportunity for local and international investors to come together in an informal business networking platform, organisers said yesterday.
Leaders from various industries meet every year at this event to create synergies and share valuable information on the market.During this moment of transition in Qatar, the international business community is eager to cooperate with the country’s progress and it is fundamental to share experiences and gather the opinions of different industry experts. The solidarity expressed by the expat community towards Qatar, in recent occasions, attests the faith in the country’s vision and leadership as well as a positive will of contribution to future achievements, they said.
According to the organisers, the business networking event is a testament to how the various business councils have grown together towards one common goal : facilitating inter-organisation operations of international entrepreneurs through networking dynamics .The business councils work in synergy with their embassies and Qatari public and private organisations.
“In times of crisis, we are looking for opportunities rather than challenges and together we can always achieve more. Thus, we are deliberately choosing to jointly host this important event with our international colleagues and bringing together our business communities”, the organisers said. The Back 2 Business Networking Event was launched in Qatar in 2004 by the German Business Council and the Italian chamber of Commerce.
Today the event is supported also by the American Chamber of Commerce, Irish Qatari Business Council, Maison de la France, Qatar British Business Forum, Dutch Business Council Qatar, Spanish Business Council Qatar and the Scandinavian Business Council. Palma Libotte, Chairperson of the Italian chamber explained said more than 300 people are expected to attend the networking event. “We are really looking forward to another successful edition of this great event”, she added.
