A municipal official inspects food quality and hygiene standards at a shop.
Doha: The Health Monitoring Section of Al Sheehaniya Municipality has intensified inspection campaigns on food outlets with special focus on sweets and meat shops on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
The municipal inspectors two violations of the provisions of the Law No. 8 of 1990 for regulating food, said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in a statement.
The intensified inspection campaigns will continue on food outlets to ensure the compliance of health rules for the safety and security of the consumers.
