Milestone moment for Qatar as two million fully-vaccinated against Covid-19

Doha: Qatar has reached a significant milestone in its National COVID-19 Vaccination Program with two million people being fully vaccinated. 

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) made this announcement on its Twitter account thanking everyone who took the vaccine. 

It stated, "Significant milestone reached for the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program as 2 million people are now fully vaccinated."
 
It also requested the unvaccinated population to act now and protect themselves and their family members and thus help the country return to normal life. 

To date, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 4,287,922

92.8% of the eligible population (12 years and over) have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. While, 81.6 % of the eligible population have received two doses of the vaccine. 

According to the Ministry's latest Covid-19 update, the total number of vaccine doses administered in the last 24 hours was 19,667. 

Furthermore, 80.5% of the total population have now received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and 70.8% of the total population have received two vaccine doses.
