The Chief of Staff of Qatari Armed Forces, H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, met yesterday in Ankara with the Turkish Chief of General Staff, Yaşar Güler. During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed, including means of enhancing and developing bilateral relations and cooperation in defence and military fields. Al Ghanim also met the Defence Minister Hulusi Akar in the presence of General Staff Yaşar Güler and Qatari Ambassador to Turkey, Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, and other officials. Al Ghanim also visited the commander of the Turkish Special Forces.
