Doha, Qatar: In implementation of the directives of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has launched an air bridge to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to support relief and rescue operations following the two earthquakes that struck the capital, Caracas.
In a social media post by the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the flight carried a specialized team from the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), in addition to field hospitals, medical teams, and humanitarian aid supplies.
The assistance is aimed at supporting international efforts to rescue those affected by the earthquakes and provide urgent medical and humanitarian support to the impacted areas.
