Doha, Qatar: Qatar's Meteorology Department has forecast hot to very hot conditions across the country on Wednesday, with temperatures in Doha expected to reach 42°Celsius.
In its daily weather report, the department said coastal areas would experience light dust and intermittent clouds throughout the day, while offshore conditions were expected to remain clear.
Northwesterly winds are forecast to blow at speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots along the coast, with stronger gusts of up to 24 knots during the daytime. At sea, winds are expected to reach between 6 and 16 knots, with gusts occasionally rising to 21 knots.
Wave heights are predicted to range from one to three feet along the coast, increasing to four feet at times. Offshore waves could reach up to six feet in some areas.
Visibility is expected to range between four and nine kilometers onshore and between five and nine kilometers at sea, with dusty conditions affecting some parts of the country.
