Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met in Rome yesterday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, H E Luigi Di Maio.
The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation and the developments in the region, mainly in Libya.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs extended thanks to the Italian Republic for hosting the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat IS, affirming the importance of coordinating the Qatari-Italian efforts on regional and international issues.
