The US military says it has redirected 18 commercial vessels as part of its renewed blockade against Iran.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces have also disabled two ships and boarded two to verify that they were complying with the blockade.
CENTCOM said that more than 20 warships are now deployed across the Middle East to enforce what Washington has dubbed a “steel wall” around Iranian waters.
