Last batch of Qatar’s medical aid arrives in Khartoum

Khartoum: The third and last shipment of medical aid donated by Qatar to Sudan arrived in Khartoum yesterday under a humanitarian intervention conducted by Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS).
The aircraft carrying the Qatari medical aid was received at Khartoum Airport by H E Qatar’s Ambassador to Sudan, Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Kubaisi, Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Health, Dr. Sara Abdel Azim, and officials of Qatar Red Crescent and Sudanese authorities concerned with medical, health and humanitarian aid.
In a press statement, H E the Qatari Ambassador Al Kubaisi said that the Qatari medical aid comes in support of the brothers in Sudan in the medical and health field, in the framework of the distinct relations between the two countries in all domains.
H E Al Kubaisi pointed to the continued communication between the leaderships of the two countries at various levels to further promote the relations for the interests of the two countries and peoples.
For her part, the Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Health, Dr. Sara Abdel Azim, praised the relations between Qatar and Sudan, and Qatar’s support and aid in the health field.
She noted a continued cooperation with Qatar and stressed the keenness on building a strategic partnership to ensure the joint work and the development of the health system and all its components in Sudan.
