Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani attended the closing of the Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar, the first round of the 2021 FIM MotoGP World Championship, held at the Losail International Circuit yesterday.
H E the Prime Minister and Interior Minister also paid a visit to Qatar Motorsports Academy where he was briefed about the various programmes of the Academy and the simulators equipped with the latest technology to host digital motor sports.
The event was attended by Minister of Culture and Sports H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, President of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) H E Jorge Viegas and other officials, amid COVID-19 precautionary measures.
