Doha: Qatar Navigation (Milaha) reported a net profit of QR300m for the six months ended June 30, 2020, down from QR316m for the same period in 2019. Milaha’s operating revenues for the period stood at QR1.22bn, marginally down from QR1.26bn posted a year ago.
Operating profit of QR254m for the six months ended June 30, 2020, is up from QR233m reported for the same period in 2019 Earnings per share of QR0.26 for the period, is down from QR0.28 posted for the same period in 2019.
Milaha Gas & Petrochem’s revenue increased by QR22m and net profit by QR117m. The increases were driven mainly by improved market rates that had a positive impact on our wholly owned assets as well as our joint ventures and associates. The company will conduct an investor conference call on Wednesday, July 29 at 1pm Doha time, to further discuss its results.
