Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic has opened an office for traffic services at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and will offer its various services to citizens and residents.
The office, which currently works only in the morning, provides various services like vehicle licenses and registration, payment of traffic violations, renewal of driving licenses and other related traffic services.
Capt Ali Morshed Al Nuaimi, Head of the External Services Department at the General Directorate of Traffic, said that the office serves the airport staff, passengers and others and will be a relief for those who have any traffic transactions to be cleared as now it can be easily cleared at Hamad International Airport.
He explained that some residents who have traffic violations and whose residence has expired in the country can pay the violations in the office before departure, in order to avoid any delay during departure, stressing the keenness of the General Directorate of Traffic to expand its offices and service centers to serve the public and to save time and effort.
