Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, on Tuesday received HE Luigi Di Maio, the European Union's Special Representative for the Gulf region, who is currently visiting Qatar.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the European Union and discussed ways to further strengthen and enhance them.
They also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting security and stability in the region following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The meeting also covered a number of issues of mutual interest.
