Qatar Foundation (QF) yesterday welcomed Falah the Falcon, the official mascot of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019, to Education City.
The mascot met with QF students at Multaqa (Education City Student Center), and –emblazoned in maroon – helped to highlight the attributes of an athlete, such as being competitive, courageous, fun, helpful and loyal.
The IAAF competition will run from September 27 to October 6, and is set to welcome over 2,000 athletes from 213 countries.
