Doha: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs remined people to follow all precautionary measures in place when they visit a mosque for prayers.
“We remind you that cooperation and adherence to precautionary measures is the best way to prevent the spread of the pandemic,” Ministry said in a post on social media.
It also listed the measures to be followed in the post:
- Make sure to perform ablution at home
- Show Ehtiraz at the entrance
- Even if you are wearing gloves, avoid shaking hands
- Bring your own prayer mat and place it at designated areas
- Make sure to wear a mask while you are in the mosque
- Bring your own Mushaf with you, or read the Quran on your mobile
“May God protect everyone and provide you with health and safety,” the ministry concluded in the post.
