Doha, Qatar: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced that during the Eid Al-Adha holiday period from May 26 to 30, 2026, its on-duty health centers received a total of 18,769 patients, including both Qatari citizens and residents while services were provided through 21 designated health centers operating throughout the holiday period.
The total number of patients included 7,255 visitors to Family Medicine Clinics, while General Dental Clinics received 888 patients.
The figure also included all cases treated at the Urgent Care Units operating in 15 health centers: Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Al Ruwais, Al Sheehaniya, Al Kaaban, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Rawdat Al Khail, Muaither, Umm Slal, Leabaib, Al Karaana, Al Wajbah, Al Thumama, and Al Khor. These units received 8,566 cases, all of which were managed according to the urgency and clinical needs of each patient.
PHCC further stated that a range of Specialized Clinic Services remained available during the Eid holiday to meet the needs of patients.
These services included Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Dermatology, Premarital Screening, Optometry, Mental Health, and Physiotherapy, in addition to Pharmacy, Radiology, And Laboratory Services.
During the holiday period, Ophthalmology clinics received 235 patients, ENT clinics received 216 patients, Dermatology clinics received 224 patients, and Optometry clinics received 166 patients at Leabaib, Rawdat Al Khail, and Al Mashaf Health Centers.
Mental Health and Integrated Mental Health clinics received 24 patients across Leabaib, Al Mashaf, Rawdat Al Khail, and Muaither health centers.

Meanwhile, Physiotherapy Services treated 191 patients at Al Sadd, Rawdat Al Khail, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Umm Slal, and Leabaib health centers.
The Premarital Screening Clinics received 23 patients at Al Mashaf, Leabaib, and Al Wajbah Health Centers.
In addition, PHCC’s Community Call Center provided 1,032 virtual medical consultations, both video and non-video, to patients who contacted the service line 16000 without a prior appointment.
This service enabled patients whose conditions are classified as urgent to access timely medical care and obtain necessary prescriptions from qualified physicians as quickly as possible.
PHCC emphasized that all on-duty health centers were committed to receiving and serving patients without delays or extended waiting times.
The Corporation noted that meeting patients’needs remains one of its key priorities and is a fundamental pillar of the National Health Strategy, aligned with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
