As a close friend and strategic partner of Qatar, Pakistan welcomes this vision of progress and stability. Our two countries share longstanding bonds of brotherhood, mutual respect, and cooperation. Pakistan greatly values Qatar’s constructive international role, its economic achievements, and its consistent efforts to promote dialogue and peaceful resolution of disputes. We remain confident that the enduring partnership between Pakistan and Qatar will continue to expand across trade, investment, energy, education, security and people-to-people exchanges.
His Highness’s reaffirmation of Qatar’s commitment to diplomacy while firmly upholding its sovereignty is particularly significant. Dialogue and negotiation are essential instruments for preventing escalation, resolving differences, and preserving regional peace.
The call for stronger cooperation among the Gulf Cooperation Council states and for safeguarding maritime navigation, energy supplies, and critical infrastructure reflects an understanding that security in our interconnected world is a shared responsibility.
I also commend His Highness’s principled position on Palestine and his emphasis on accountability, international law, and the protection of civilian lives. Pakistan shares Qatar’s deep concern for the suffering of the Palestinian people and supports a just and lasting resolution of the Palestinian question in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions and international law. We equally support peaceful political solutions to conflicts across the region that preserve sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the legitimate aspirations of affected peoples.
