Doha, Qatar: The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation, KAHRAMAA, has warned the public against parking vehicles in front of electrical substations.
In a post on X, Kahramaa said the practice is strictly prohibited as it directly obstructs emergency and scheduled maintenance activities.
It further noted that the safety and security of the site are compromised which may lead to delays in restoring services during outages.
The Corporation urged drivers to comply with the directive and avoid parking in these areas to ensure efficiency, reliability and continuity of electrical network in the country.
Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in legal actions and penalties, it warned.
