Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,651 martyrs and 174,575 wounded since Oct. 7, 2023.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), quoting medical sources in Gaza, reported that hospitals in the Strip received 17 martyrs in the past 48 hours (5 new deaths, one martyr who succumbed to his wounds, and 11 bodies recovered), in addition to 27 wounded.
The sources indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,344 and the number of wounded to 4,464, in addition to the recovery of 815 bodies. They explained that 160 martyrs were added to the cumulative death toll after their data were completed and approved during August.
They pointed out that many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach and rescue them.
