Police Academy publishes new issue of Legal and Security Studies Journal

Doha, Qatar: The Security Research and Studies Centre at Police Academy has published the second issue of Volume 6 (July 2026) of the Journal of Legal and Security Studies, featuring a collection of scholarly research and studies addressing legal, social, administrative and economic issues related to security work. The journal is a peer-reviewed publication aimed at advancing research and enriching knowledge in the legal and security fields.
The latest edition presents a range of specialized studies examining contemporary security and legal challenges. Among the featured topics are the regulation of social media influencers’ conduct under Qatar’s administrative enforcement framework, digital drugs in Qatari legislation, comparative legal approaches to combating cybercrime between Qatar and Germany, protection of whistleblowers, witnesses and experts in corruption cases across GCC legislation, administrative corruption and methods of confronting its risks, as well as a comparative study of criminal infiltration techniques in French and Qatari law.
The publication reflects the Police Academy’s continued commitment to supporting scientific research and promoting evidence-based legal and security knowledge. Through the journal, the Security Research and Studies Center seeks to contribute to the development of security policies, encourage academic dialogue, and provide researchers and practitioners with studies that address emerging legal and security issues in Qatar and beyond.
