Paris: Qatar Embassy in the French Republic has provided support to the association of ‘Paris Hospitals — France Hospitals’ and its medical apparatus, as part of the campaign launched by the Embassy under a banner of solidarity with the French Republic and as an encouragement to the huge medical sector efforts and its maximum capacity to fight the coronavirus in French society and look after the infected.
The embassy’s support included the provision of daily meals to the frontlines of medical cadres, doctors, nurses and paramedics. The association distributed meals to the medical staff at Argenteuil Hospital and de La Fontaine Hospital in appreciation of the great and courageous role that medical personnel play.
The meals that were distributed carried the solidarity banner launched by Ambassador of Qatar, H E Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani. The banner bears the word “Solidarity” in French to symbolise the State of Qatar’s solidarity with France and to support the efforts of doctors and paramedics working to combat the spread of the COVID-19.
The Embassy of Qatar renewed their condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the infected.
