Gulf nations reported missile and drone attacks Monday, while Iran pressed on with strikes against neighbouring countries.

Qatar confirms missile attack, sents out message stating 'threat has been eliminated'
The Ministry of Defense of State of Qatar announced that armed forces intercepted missile attack which targeted State of Qatar.
Approximately 20 minutes after sending the first alert raising the threat level, Qatar sent our another message stating that the threat was eliminated.

New National Emergency Alert warns 'threat level elevated' in Qatar
Qatar sent out National Emergency Alert to all phone calling on public to stay indoors.
It activated the national warning mechanism, where it stated,"The security threat level is elevated. Everyone is required to remain indoors, refrain from going out and stay away from windows and exposed areas, in order to ensure public safety." Within minutes of the alert, loud sounds of interception were heard across the country.
This was the second alert sent out today after the first one was sent around 3am.

US orders citizens to leave Southeast Turkiye
Washington has advised non-essential staff to leave its consulate near the southern Turkish city of Adana near a key NATO base and ordered US citizens to leave “southeast Turkey”, the US embassy to Ankara says.
“On March 9, 2026, the Department of State ordered non-emergency US government employees and US government employee family members to leave Consulate General Adana due to the safety risks,” it said on X, referencing a travel advisory saying: “Americans in southeast Turkey are strongly encouraged to depart now”.

Two injured in Abu Dhabi as debris falls after interceptions
Abu Dhabi authorities say two people were injured in two separate locations by falling debris following an interception by the country’s air defence system.

General Directorate of Traffic seizes 39 vehicles for noise violations
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic, has seized 39 violating vehicles that were emitting loud and disturbing noises while driving on the roads. Their drivers were apprehended and referred to the competent authorities in accordance with the procedures followed in such cases.
This action comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the General Directorate of Traffic to control violations that disturb public tranquility and cause inconvenience to road users and residents.
Producing disturbing noise from vehicles is considered a violation of Article (58) of the Traffic Law issued by Decree-Law No. (19) of 2007, which stipulates that no vehicle may be driven on the road if it emits disturbing noise, and that every vehicle must be equipped with a properly functioning muffler (silencer).
