Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) yesterday announced the resumption dates for the Men’s Volleyball League and the schedule for the Qatar Cup and Amir Cup competitions.
The second half of the Men’s Volleyball League will resume from March 23 to 30.
The Amir Cup qualifying rounds are set for April 1 to 5, followed by the Qatar Cup from April 2 to 4. The draw for the Amir Cup will be held on April 6, with the tournament itself running from April 8 to 15.
Both cups will use a single-elimination format, with venues and detailed schedules to be announced later.
In the league standings, Al Wakrah lead by seven points over second-placed Al Rayyan, followed by Al Arabi in third, Al Shorta fourth, and Qatar SC fifth. Al Ahli are sixth, Al Shamal seventh, Al Khor eighth, Al Gharafa ninth, and Al Sadd remain at the bottom in tenth place
