Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Tuesday, gaining 14.09 points, or 0.13%, to reach 10,645 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by five sectors.
Market data showed gains in the Telecoms sector by 0.89%, Consumer Goods and Services (+0.37%), Industrials (+0.19%), Real Estate (+0.15%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.09%). Meanwhile, the performance was negative for the Insurance sector by (-0.24%), and Transportation (-0.60%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 54.715 million, with 26.778 million shares traded in 3,503 transactions.
