Doha, Qatar: Ideal Indian School recently hosted the 9th Annual Inter-School Uswa-e-Rasool Elocution and Recitation Competition with profound reverence and solemnity.
The competition featured two topics for the Elocution segment: Juniors: Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a Role Model for Our Daily Life; Seniors: Justice and Equality in the Life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
In the senior category, Khalid Soban (Grade XII) from Ideal Indian School secured first position in the Qur’an Recitation competition, while in the junior category, Mohamed Shaban Naji Eid (Grade VII) achieved second position in Qur’an Recitation. In the Elocution competition, Fatima Khairi (Grade XII) won second position in the senior category, and Farah Naaz (Grade IX) earned first position in the junior category.
Among the ten participating schools, Ideal Indian School clinched the Overall Championship Trophy in Elocution, marking a proud moment and a crowning achievement for the institution.
The event’s Convener, Azam Khan Vice Principal, Boys’ Section conveyed the message of the Principal, Mr. Shaikh Shamim Saheb, who extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winners, participants, and teachers from all participating schools. Azam Khan also expressed his sincere appreciation to Dr. Ehtesham, Head of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, and his dedicated team for their exceptional efforts and success. He further acknowledged the support of all Heads of Sections for their cooperation and encouragement.
The Elocution competition was judged by distinguished personalities: Mueen – Executive Director and author of numerous research publications; Sheikh Alqama Rajpura – Imam and Khateeb, Ministry of Awqaf, Qatar and Noryn Shaukat Ali – Educationist and Goodwill Ambassador, Al-Qalam Academy
The Qur’an Recitation competition was evaluated by: Shaikh Tahir Ibraheem Ali Al-Ahdal – Imam & Khateeb, Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs; Qari Abdul Aziz – Imam & Khateeb and Qari Mohammad Siddique – Imam & Khateeb
During the closing ceremony, the Chief Guest, Mueen, and the Guest of Honour, Noryn Shaukat Ali, delivered inspiring messages on the true spirit of Islam and commended the students and the Arabic Department for their unwavering dedication and hard work.
