Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell 60.85 points, or 0.62%, to 9,712 points at the start of trading on Wednesday, driven by losses across all sectors.
Data from the exchange showed negative performance across various sectors: Industrials (-0.14%), Real Estate (-0.23%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.31%), Transportation (-0.52%), Telecommunications (-0.54%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.77%), and Insurance (-0.95%).
By 10am, turnover stood at QAR 47.475 million, with 24.033 million shares traded in 2,865 transactions, according to QSE data.
