Taiyuan: China successfully sent a new satellite into space on Monday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province.
The SEO satellite was launched at 11:02am (Beijing Time) aboard a Long March-2C carrier rocket. It entered its preset orbit successfully.
This launch marked the 664th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series, according to the launch center.
