Gaza: The Government Media Office in Gaza Strip announced that the total number of martyrs from 38 days of Israel's ongoing ground offensive reached 3,542 - an average of nearly 93 deaths per day, in a systematic and well-documented war crime.
In its statement, the office said that 1,984 of the martyrs were from northern Gaza, while 1,558 were from central and southern areas. This distribution, it explained, demonstrates that occupation deliberately targeted Gaza City and the north with the aim of emptying and forcibly displacing the residents.
The office added that Israel did not spare the central and southern regions, which it claims to be safe humanitarian zones, where 1,558 people were martyred, underscoring that the targeting was comprehensive and intentional against civilians and their shelters.

It stressed that these shocking figures reveal a systematic policy of genocide through mass killings, widespread destruction, and forced displacement - in blatant violation of international humanitarian law, Geneva Conventions, and relevant UN resolutions.
The statement renewed its call on the international community, the United Nations, and the International Criminal Court to shoulder their legal, humanitarian, moral, and historical responsibilities, to stop Israel's genocidal crimes, and to hold its leaders accountable as war criminals.
