MoI urges motorists to avoid overtaking from right inside tunnels

Doha, Qatar: Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Saturday issued safety guidelines urging motorists to follow essential road safety measures while driving through tunnels.

In a post on social media, the ministry advised drivers to avoid overtaking from the right and comply with all posted tunnel instructions.
MoI also reminded motorists to adhere to designated speed limits, switch on headlights, maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, and remain within their lanes at all times.

The ministry further urged drivers to “be a partner in promoting the road safety campaign.”
