DOHA: Customers can now call single toll-free number (8008294) to book taxis operated by Karwa or private operators.
The service is part of the unified call centre for taxis launched by Mowasalat.
Mowasalat will deploy 12 new buses and operate 70 additional trips during Eid holidays to meet an increase in demand, Al Sharq reports.
Karwa taxis will be available round the clock during the holidays at all major destinations.
More inspectors and supervisors have been assigned to ensure smooth operation of buses and taxes as well as passengers’ safety.
Waiting time for buses to Al Khor, Dukhan and Al Shamal routes have been reduced.
