Doha, Qatar: Bazm-e-Ahbab Qatar organised a grand and culturally vibrant Nashist in honour of the distinguished poet Nadeem Maher, celebrating his exceptional literary contributions and recognising him as an outstanding human being and a profound voice in contemporary poetry.
The event featured a Reception Ceremony, Felicitation Programme, and Mushaira, drawing an impressive gathering of literary enthusiasts, intellectuals, and community members. The evening commenced with a soulful Qiraat-e-Kalam-e-Pak by Hafez Abulkalam, followed by a melodious Hamd presented by Meraj Malik, setting a spiritually uplifting tone for the ceremony.
The programme was successfully executed through the efforts of the organising committee, including Dr. Farooq (Sadr-e-Mushaira), Dr. Mirza (Convener Mushaira), Dr. Khalid Shareef, Anwar Ansari, Munawar Ansari, Amjad Khan, Abid Khan, and Siraj Ansari (Director, QPL).
Several distinguished personalities graced the occasion. Dr. Nadeem Zafar Jeelani served as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Hameed Shaheed Bhatti and Ubaid Taher joined as Guests of Honour. Each presented a memento to Mr. Nadeem Maher, acknowledging his remarkable achievements and poetic excellence.
Notable attendees included Janab Qursheed Sherwani, Dr. Saad Mahi, Osama Shamsi, Dr. Moin Zameer Khan, Sarwar Mirza (Radio Qatar), Pervez Khan, Asif Khan, and Hameed Shareef, among several others.
