Doha, Qatar: The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman) operating under Qatar Foundation for Social Work has concluded its awareness activities for the “Tomorrow’s Leader” (Miqdam Al Ghad) programme, organised in cooperation with Ministry of Defence, represented by the National Service Academy, with more than 500 children participating in awareness workshops throughout July 2026.
The initiative forms part of Aman Center’s efforts to promote social protection awareness among children and young people, focusing on key issues including bullying and technological extortion. The workshops sought to equip participants with practical knowledge on preventing such risks, responding to them positively and following appropriate social protection mechanisms.
Fadl Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of Aman Center, highlighted the importance of cooperation with the National Service Academy in raising awareness among participants and supporting their personal development.
He said the centre’s specialised team delivered awareness workshops to more than 500 participants during July, addressing bullying and technological extortion and explaining ways children can protect themselves and respond appropriately when confronted with such challenges. Al Kaabi stressed that awareness and prevention during childhood are essential to building confident and responsible individuals, noting that children represent the future and a promising generation capable of contributing to a strong and progressive society.
Bakheeta Al Ghayathin, Director of the Community Awareness Department at Aman Center, said the centre is keen to participate in awareness programmes during the summer, using the period to introduce children to the concept of social protection and the essential steps needed to safeguard themselves from potential harm.
She explained that such activities aim to provide children with appropriate solutions for dealing with difficult situations while instilling values of protection and responsibility among younger generations.
For her part, Hanan Al Ali, Director of the Communication and Media Office at Aman Center, stressed the importance of strengthening community partnerships with various institutions across Qatar.
She said cooperation with security-sector institutions contributes to advancing Aman’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.
